research into Neurodiversity and our
Faith. If you're an adult neurodivergent
Catholic or a Caregiver of a
neurodivergent Catholic, we want to hear
from you. Your experiences will help us to
become more inclusive and responsive to

Why not sign a “Gift Aid” Form?
If you are a tax payer do, please, sign a
“gift-aid” form. This takes only a few
moments to do, it costs you nothing, but
greatly enhances the value of what you
give by allowing the parish to claim back
the tax on your donation. Just see the
priest or parish secretary if interested.
And another reminder please do use your
offertory envelopes for your giving!!

Quietness (Reverence) in
Church
Be silent, be thoughtful, and be
reverent, for this is the house of the
Lord. Before Mass speak to God.
During Mass let God speak to you.
After Mass speak to one another, but
quietly, without disturbing those who
are at prayer – ideally in the porch.

The Jubilee Prayer
Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of
the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within
both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil
vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.
May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.
Amen

“Safeguarding” Message
The Catholic Church is committed to
the safeguarding and protection of
children, young people, and vulnerable
adults. Every person has a right to be
safe and respected within our
community in a non-judgemental way.
As a parish, we take this responsibility
seriously. We follow national
safeguarding guidelines, ensure all
volunteers are properly vetted and
trained, and maintain clear procedures
for reporting concerns.
Our parish is open and is inclusive to
all who come to pray within.
Together, let us continue to build a
community of care, trust, and safety
for all in an open honest, tolerant and
receptive manner.
If you have any concerns about the
welfare of a child or vulnerable adult,
or if you wish to speak with someone
about a safeguarding issue, please
contact our Parish Safeguarding
Representative or the Diocesan
Safeguarding Office.

October.
World Mission Sunday
19 October
World Mission Sunday is observed
annually on the second to last Sunday of
October, and this year it falls on 19
October. It’s a day when Catholics around
the world come together in prayer,
solidarity, and support for the Church’s
overseas mission work.
For World Mission Day in the Jubilee Year
2025, the central message of which is
hope (cf. Bull Spes Non Confundit, 1),
Pope Francis chose the motto:
‘Missionaries of Hope Among all Peoples’.
It reminds individual Christians and the
entire Church, the community of the
baptised, of our fundamental vocation to
be, in the footsteps of Christ, messengers
and builders of hope. I trust that it will be
for everyone a time of grace with the
faithful God who has given us new birth
in the risen Christ ‘to a living hope’ (cf. 1
Peter 1:3-4). Read More….
